Yantai Institute of Science and Technology
Yantai Institute of Science and Technology is a full-time undergraduate institution with a focus on engineering, management, and art, and a coordinated development of multiple disciplines. It has the qualification to award nationally recognized undergraduate and junior college degrees, as well as the authority to confer bachelor's degrees. The school was formerly known as Quancheng College of Jinan University, founded in 2005, and was renamed Yantai Institute of Science and Technology in 2021.
The school is located in Penglai, Shandong Province, a historical and cultural city known as the "Wonderland on Earth" and a national excellent tourist city. It faces the sea, has beautiful scenery, pleasant climate, and is a coastal university with a beautiful environment. The campus covers an area of 2130 acres, with a building area of over 650000 square meters. It has a digital library with nearly 1.22 million books, a standard plastic track and field, a sports hall, an international academic lecture hall and other student activity venues. There are more than 150 experimental and training rooms, including a multimedia center. A core 100G interconnection, building 40G interconnection, 10G to classroom, and 1G to desktop all-optical campus network has been built, achieving full coverage of wireless network campus.
The school recruits students nationwide and currently has over 23000 full-time students. It has 11 secondary colleges and basic teaching departments, including the School of Ocean Engineering, the School of Data Intelligence, the School of Finance and Economics, the School of Management, the School of Culture and Media, the School of Art and Design, the School of Humanities, the International Wine Business School, the Boya International School, the School of Marxism, and the School of Physical Education. We have established 40 undergraduate majors and 21 associate degree majors.
