Prof. Jian Dong received the B.S. degree in communication engineering from Hunan University, Changsha, China, in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree in information and communication engineering from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China, in 2010. From 2006 to 2010, he was a Research Assistant with the National Key Laboratory of Science and Technology on Multispectral Information Processing, HUST. From 2016 to 2017, he was a Visiting Scholar with the Eledia Research Center, University of Trento, Italy. He is currently a Full Professor with the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Central South University. He has published 6 books and over 150 peer reviewed academic papers on international journals and conferences. His current research interests include antennas, metamaterials, wireless communications, machine learning and its applications to electromagnetics. He is the director of Hunan Engineering Research Center for new generation mobile communication RF inductive components. He is a member of Young Talents Board of Zhejiang Lab, a member of the expert database of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Natural Science Foundation, and the Ministry of Education. He has served as a general co-chair of IoTCIT2022 and 6GIoTT2022, as a technical program chair of CCPQT2022 and EITCE2021, as a Session chair for IEEE ICMMT/IWS/NEMO/ISAPE/ISAP/IWAT, ACES, and PIERS, and as a guest editor for several MDPI journals.
